Day 173.....lots of to-ing and fro-ing.

 Day 173.....lots of to-ing and fro-ing.

3 Girls and 4 Suitcases.

So, with Mr D having a car, we did lots of heavy duty shopping such as bottles of soda and tins of tomatoes.
It will save my arms in the coming weeks. I think I may be sorted till the summer :-)
Bill and I did a wee bit birthday shopping for Jen, after dropping Ali at school. She liked getting a lift and I may have to buy a car-lol.
We nipped home to pick up Jen and headed to No frills for the heavy shop and then home for lunch. We have been having to swap parking places for the car due to our drive only being clear enough for one car. We parked it overnight in the drive of the empty house that jen and I had looked around a few weeks back and just hoped that nobody would appear at the door asking us to move it. Or worse still, finding that it had been towed.
Luckily the lady next door has space in her drive and kindly said that either justin or we could park in hers.
You are not allowed to park on Royal York Road or other major roads EVER.
We picked Ali up from school (she enjoyed that too) and then headed out to look for a birthday chocolate cake after she went to work.
We finally found a suitable one after being disappointed that Costco didn't do the one they do in Scotland.
The snow fairly came down at one point and we worried that our planned visit to Andrews second place of work may have to be cancelled but it stopped and so we went. The highway was a bit scary but we made it to the huge mall where he does some shifts in the vans store. I chose a wacky pair of Vans which Andrew will put away for my birthday and he bought jen a pair for her birthday. Ali bought herself a a paIr.
We didn't have too much time for shopping as the mall closed at 9pm but it was somewhere that we will trek back to at some point as we didn't really put a dent in it.
I need to run, now as we are behind schedule with the birthday trip. Table is all set for cake when we get home.
Much love,
Lxxx
