Day 168........yummy chinese food.

Day 168........yummy chinese food.

3 Girls and 4 Suitcases.

Happy Valentines Day.
I opened my back door blinds and turned to discover that I had some beautiful red Roses waiting for me on the kitchen counter, to wish me a Happy Valentines Day.

I know that technically that piece of info is supposed to be in tomorrows blog but I wanted to share them.
Yesterday I managed to get through a few things on my list which felt good but I really must get a physical list written because I am much more effective when working from one.
I only went out briefly last evening, to order and pick up our first chinese food since moving here. I discovered that it's a lovely wee restuarant inside and I may just have to go there for a sit-in at some point. Once I had placed my order (comparable prices to home) I walked to the wine store to pick up some of my Pino and then went back to get the food. En route back, I did my wee random act of kindness by volunteering to help a very handsome young guy manouver his car out of a very small car park. He was so grateful after having looked totally terrified as he looked back and forward to work out how he was going to escape.
The food was very yummy and I will recommend it to anyone who asks. The girls only ate one portion of the chicken balls and so I had 4 for breakfast-yum.
Yum, yum, yum.
We watched a great movie called Divergent and I believe its sequel is due out soon. A wee cheap tuesday visit to the movies may be in order.
Did you know that the canadians pronounce Tuesday as toosday? And tuna as toona? Ali gets ribbed at school for her wrong pronunciation.
I ended up not having any wine, after making the effort to pick some up. I have a little bit left in a glass from Thursday night and I have a shelf in the fridge which is just perfect for keeping it safe.

I went to bed later than usual after a triple dose of Greys Anatomy but I couldn't get to sleep. Interesting. The snow was falling and has covered the sidewalk again but it is still the cold that is amazing me. It's supposed to feel like -40 tonight so Ali and I will have a chilly trip to drama in the morning.
Okay-that's it.
Much love,
 Lxxx
