Day 165............Flights booked on my fixed laptop.

Day 165............Flights booked on my fixed laptop.

3 Girls and 4 Suitcases.

Yesterday brought one last bash at fixing my laptop. I was bemoaning how many hours I had wasted, trying to fix it and I decided to try one more system restore, to see if it would work........and it did-yahoo. The awesome additional bonus was that it also fixed my wifi.
So, if any of you ever suffer from the black screen of nothing, on your computer-give the system restore a second chance. I think that I didn't go back far enough, the first time.
The wifi could be a coincidence but I am taking it and enjoying it and hope that it will stick around.
So, with the laptop fully functional, I decided that I really ought to get the girls flights booked for summer. The tickets have dropped in price and the dollar has dropped in exchange rate so another double bonus for me, yesterday. For summer flights, nae too bad getting them for just over £500/person. Hopefully, when I get around to booking my own, it'll be a similar price.
The cheaper fuel prices may have had a little bit of an effect on the prices, I suppose.
So, who is coming over to rent my hoose in the summer? Seriously, it's a great place to set up camp to visit Toronto. A bit bare of furniture, granted-lol but all the essentials are here and it's clean and loved.  I must get set up on airbnb and other sites as I'm sure that there will be lots of folk looking for accommodation, with the Pan Am games being on. Note to self, add to the still non-existent list of things I have to do.
Jen and I had another indoor day to ourselves yesterday and I am glad to report that she was feeling better. Wee scone.
Alison had a Math test which she found impossible and failed with flying colours. I think she plans to see her teacher for some guidance today and hopefully she will find a way to understand the topic. She has to choose her subjects for next year and we think we will have her do college level Math, rather than university level. She already has her Standard Grade in Maths so I think we can draw a line under punishing her with difficult Math.
They choose their subjects online, from home. Very strange.
I put Jennifer through a little bit of boredom last evening when we watched Chariots of Fire. I loved it but it was too slow and meandering for her. Sorry Jen.
And on that note, I am off to meditate.
Much love to all,
Lxxx
