Day 162.........my laptop got fried trying to watch the Scotland game-groan

Day 162.........my laptop got fried trying to watch the Scotland game-groan.

3 Girls and 4 Suitcases.

So, the title tells you the basic story and I have yet to tackle the laptop today, to see if I can put it back to non-safe mode.i lost the screen altogether after downloading a whole load of junk, trying to watch the Scotland V France game. Oh deary me. All I was left with was a blank black screen. I managed to access the internet from my Task manager and from there downloaded another anti-virus which fixed it temporarily till I shut it down to complete the installation. Lots of swearing could have been done but instead I was just frustrated and tried to be grateful for the fact that there was at least a way to access my stuff. On one of the numerous reboots, I selected safe-networking mode and so now I can do everything (so far) but I have a really wacky screen set-up which I will try to fix at some point. It's almost like I am watching wide screen or that it's on stretch-mode. Very interesting but not great.
Andrew is coming over for dinner in an hour and so perhaps I will see what he thinks.
Yesterday's rugby game eventually got watched on Jens laptop. She emailed her big cousin Rob, who told her what he does and so we got yo see the second half. A wee bit of a challenge on her laptop, without full-screen mode. Sometimes I couldn't even see the ball, just some white shorts running up the pitch-lol. Shame we lost. Better luck next weekend.
Ali had loads of 'lines' to learn yesterday and a bit of self-filming to do and so Jen helped her. I sat down here, listening to them and enjoying their banter. Did I tell you all that I love spending all this time with them? Probably lots of times.
Saturday, for me, is usually Laundry day and then I don't have to think about it again for a week. How fab is that. I think that I am probably very lucky that my girls don't do the whole 'I've worn it once so it's dirty' routine-yippee.
The snow has been building and our OLAF is beginning to sink into it. He isn't actually, that's just how he looks. I couldn't be bothered going outside again so you're just getting a view of his rear. I'm sure he must be thinking 'does my bum look big?' We keep flipping the snow off his hat and scarf but they soon disappear again. There is supposed to be snow on and off for several days. I love the snow but don't like the sound of the freezing ice pellets they mention-EEK. The other pic's are of my view down Royal York, the front bushes and wall. Lots of snow.
Right, I'm off to make mac 'n' cheese for my boy....and girls.
Much Love to all,
Lxxxx
