Day 171......................Thank goodness it was only -25 for my walk to see Ross.
3 Girls and 4 Suitcases.
I was ever so glad that the wind had dropped when I walked the couple of blocks, after I got off my bus, to see Ross. Usually I would have peeled off my hoodie and tights on arrival (I always visit the ladies) but I decided to keep them on and it was a good decision.
I finally picked up a bit of heat in me and took off my hoodie just before it was time to head home. I kept having to remind Ross how cold it was outside but despite that, I failed to dissuade him from a quick walk down the drive, when I was leaving. He wanted to continue along to the main road with me but I managed to persuade him to turn back when the sidewalk became icy. I told him that I wanted to visit him at home next week and not in hospital. I watched (hidden) till I made sure that he was back inside the grounds, on the clear path and was very glad to help him feel independent by not walking back with him (as I was tempted to do)
I had a Bach Skype consult in the afternoon and skype has been rubbish the last couple of times I have used it. I was trying to lead her through some meditation and the sound kept disappearing and then the call would drop. GRRR. I know that I believe things happen for a reason but it was a bit frustrating for both of us.
The rest of the day I will tell you about tomorrow because I need to run out, now and won't likely get back to this.
