So, I know that I am supposed to write about yesterday but it seems so far away, after fighting with my laptop all afternoon. But I will save the details till tomorrow (from TH) and hope that this thing doesn't play up again.
I probably ought not to write it straight on the page either, with my luck and technology this week but hey ho, I am. It's a time thing at this point.
Yesterday was another quiet day and so like my last blog, there isn't much to report.
I get seriously motivated in the mornings but the afternoons and evenings just seem to disappear, without the completion of much.
I know that I did a fair bit of reading articles yesterday-kind of got lost in the whole Facebook thing at one point and boy, do the minutes just tick away.
Pizza was hot but not as tasty last night but the movie was my all time favourite, which I haven't seen for years. It's 50 years old this March and the version Ali got from school was obviously an original because it even had the Intermission written across the screen and the second act was introduced with the big orchestra snippets. Oh how I love the Sound of Music.
I do remember that the first time I saw it in the movies and they did that whole "panning-out over the mountains, whilst the birds sing and the music build"s thing, I felt like it was going to be an awful movie. Oh how wrong I was. the first time I got married, my sis and I were sitting in our underwear watching it when the Car arrived to pick us up-lol. Plonking on my veil, in a hurry, I remember us falling about with laughter because it was too short because I had a big hairdo (which I hadn't had when I tried it on the previous times) Ah, good times.
See, there was a wee story to fill the space.
