Day 30....already.

Day 30....already.

3 Girls and 4 Suitcases.

And the adventure continues.

Today ran away with me, probably because I had a wee bit too much wine last night and didn't get out of bed till nearly 10am-oops. Even the peeling church bells at 9 didn't peel me out of bed. In my defense, I was still first up.
Yesterday involved returning the van used to bring the sofa home from Ikea and then walking to the Sears store to see if we could once-and-for-all sort out the return of the remaining bed-pieces. It was hot damn hot and the walk was around a half hour so when we got there we were a little bit sweaty betty.
Another lovely lady dealt with our complaints and I was so glad that she was doing it all, rather than us because she probably took 30-40 minutes just to organise a pick up-not a great system here for returns of goods bought online, folks. Hopefully this time, the pick up which is now organised for Oct 2nd 5-9.30pm, will see us without the current ornimentation of 4 bed pieces in various corners of the house.
From Sears, we went back along the street to visit a Farmers Market that we had noticed on our way to Sears. It was a bit of a dud and we bought nothing and didn't even find anyone selling some much needed water.....so into the neighbouring mall we went........a wee snack at the food court later, we left Jen there to shop and walked home. Jen beat us home because it was a very long way to walk and my feet are still recovering......kidding, but I have done some serious walking this past week.
A quick turnaround in the house and we were off into Toronto to meet Andrew for dinner from his work. I had my 3rd little cheesburger and fries since Bills arrival in a place called 5 guys.........yum, yum and yum again. I will probably not have a burger between his visits so will enjoy them for now. The girls and I could actually be almost veggies except that the girls don't really like vegetables so I would have to seriously watch their iron. May have to try to get them to eat some thick veggie soup over the winter.
Post-dinner, the boys headed off to the baseball and the girls and I headed to H & M where they both picked up an item each. Then (much to my liking) we headed home to watch a movie till Bill got home after another Blue Jays win-yippee.
A couple of shows watched with him and it was nearly 1am when we headed to bed. I didn't feel like I'd had too much wine but I have been a bit sluggish today and it is good for me to be comparing how I've felt without wine for the 3 weeks before Bill arrived and how I'm feeling just now. My wee bit grouchy is perhaps wine-related? Poor Bill thinks it's him.....Bless him. Sweetie, when you read this......I love you MOST!
So it's after 10.30 so my plan of writing earlier failed today. I will try to write about today before I go to the Baseball tomorrow.
Love to you all,
Lxxx
