3 Girls and 4 Suitcases.

Today was the first baseball game of 7 in a row, that my husband has tickets for and we got off to a fantastic start with the Blue Jays winning 14-4-yahoo.
We went as a fivesome tonight and will do so again on Sun afternoon and the 5 days between there is one ticket to accompany Bill to each game. I'm going with him tomorrow night, Andrew's going Wednesday and ?Friday and Jen is going on Thursday. Alison only wants to go to the 2 games and so Saturday will be up for grabs.
Baseball is great and there are always lots of families there. Unfortunately, despite the win tonight, the Blue Jays are almost certainly going to play their last game on Sunday because, unless they win every game this week and one of the other teams loses every one of theirs, they will not be making inot the post-season play-offs.
Hands up if you didn't know that I know baseball.
We got home around 10.30 and it's currently nearly 12.30-so another late night. Hopefully tomorrows game will be a good quick one and we'll not be any later getting home. Sometimes the games can go on for 4, 5, 6 plus hours.
Baseball was the end of the day. The beginning of the day saw a quick trip to Walmart to pick up some folding chairs, a laundry basket, swing-top bin and a clothes airer.......exciting stuff. Then, after dropping the shopping at home, Bill and I took the car up to the airport to return it......boo hoo, nice having a car.
After making out way home, we did a quick turn around and then Jen joined us for a trip downtown to pick up the weeks baseball tickets. We headed up to Andrews work, to hand in his ticket for tonight and luckily timed it for him finishing so he joined us for lunch, before he and I set off in separate directions home, leaving Bill and Jen in town to wander.
I needed to go back home so that I could bring Ali' back into town for the baseball. She had a call-back for a play in school so didn't get to the subway to meet me till 6 ish. She said that the call back was great experience but due to the fact that there were only 2 female parts, she felt that the Seniors would likely get them.......and she's okay with that.
Tomorrow her school is going to a youth event downtown, next to her brothers work so a bit of a skive, I think. Then she's got another late start on Wed, which I am looking forward to at this precise minute.
Everyone else has headed to bed and I'm noting that I need to do the same. Perhaps I'll treat myself to an extra 15 mins in bed tomorrow?
Weather was a bit cool today and I had a shower jacket on. Tomorrow through Friday is supposed to be sunny and in the low 20s. My fingers are crossed.
I forgot to wrote my affirmation yesterday an those of you who write affirmations will know that it's a real pain to forget when you're on day 14 of one-ugh. Tomorrow, I will begin again-lol.
