Day 78.......a day in and some more flurries (in text format because I can't be bothered backspacing>)

3 Girls and 4 Suitcases.

> Meeting Andrew at 2pm, for a late lunch and some shopping, I have just realised that I forgot to write a blog. Must have been the excitement of spending time with my boy-lol.
> So, 'cause I am 10 mins early, I will type a wee 'ditty' on my phone and post it on FB later.
> Yesterday was a stay-at-home day. Not that I had planned it, it just sort of evolved.
> I had a wee FB chat with Ali, both before and after she had her breakfast and she informed me that the first play, the night before, had been boring so she and her friend had snuggled up and had a nap. The bus ride to NYC went okay and the hotel room (no surprise) is tiny so 4 girls and 4 suitcases are a wee bit squished. In the centre of Times Square, I would expect no less (or should I say 'no more') after all the investigation we put into hotels for our trip to New York last year. That's why we opted to stay in Newark and travel in. We probably got our 2 spacious rooms for the price of Ali's tiny one.
> I posted on FB yesterday about the snow falling but it didn't lie and there is only crisp cold sunshine today. The wind is brrr but nothing worse that the wind that hits Porty from the North sea.
> I am not entirely sure where yesterday morning disappeared to but I got a phonecall just before noon which required me to stay home for at least the next hour and a half. Andrew's friends girlfriends mother (a bit of a mouthful) popped by with a gift 'for the holidays'. One huge soup-pot and a 9 piece set of pots/pans. WOW. She had asked Andrew, via Liam, what I still needed and had gone and bought them. How kind are these folk. They are the same generous family who gave us all the stuff when we first moved in.
> Oops-spoke too soon about the snow-it's falling down outside and heavier than yesterday. Jeanette (the kind lady of yesterday) lives in Newmarket, which is approx an hour north of me and I saw on the subway tv screen that they have a snow weather-warning. EEK.
> She stayed for a cuppa and we had a really great chat. I probably came over as a real chatterbox because she was my first face to face conversation since Ali left. Also the first female adult conversation in a week. Anyways, I mustn't have been too scary because she invited us all for Christmas dinner. Again, kindness. I did tell her that we are anti-social and would likely decline but the promise of snow and sledging may be enough to get the girls up there.
> Andrew, as often, is late! but that's okay 'cause I can keep writing. What else for yesterday?
I chatted with Bill on the phone, did some writing on the screenplay, had a couple of glasses of wine with Once Upon a time and went to bed.........ta da.
Well, good job I'm finished 'cause I just got a text asking where I'm hiding and I see Andrew coming out of Roots,
TTFN, see you tomorrow,
Lxxxx
