3 Girls and 3 Suitcases-Day 2
The biggest giggle I had today was when I realised that I had marched into the mens washroom and that my wonderment at the design of the stalls/handbasin format was just a lack of knowledge that that's how it always is. Flippin' heck, a quick about turn and I spent oodles of time in the ladies to give the guy, who may have seen me in the mirror in my state of realisation that there was a man in there, get far away.
What else? We headed down into town late morning to put a case and couple of rucksacks into storage so that there's less to move down when we leave here. There is a wee house not far from the storage unit that we went to see for renting but it is a tad lacking in storage and space. It could do at a push for a short time but not sure that our stuff would all fit in and we don't have an awful lot. Location, location is good but I will hold off for now. There are a few possible alternatives which may be better options. I guess I was hoping for a first time success but no point in taking somewhere that isn't quite right unless in a fortnight I am still homeless.
After the house-viewing we headed downtown and spent some time in the Eaton centre but we are all a bit wabbit and not really interested in shopping. the brightest part of the afternoon was a wee surprise visit with Andrew, after he finished work. Jen had set it up.
Alison met u with her friend at 6, to go see One Direction and she's staying over at Jessicas tonight. Hopefully she will find her way back to us because she was brought home last night by car. I just about managed to keep my eyes open till she walked in but was snoring pretty soon after.
Jen and I did a tiny bit of shopping, to bring back here and we ate dinner late. A combination of last nights left-over pasta and fresh (microwavable) pasta=very tasty indeed. It is very handy to have a fridge and a microwave in your room but I would have liked a bog standard coffee maker better than this 'poddy' thing. Oh well, coffee tastes good though.
Breakfast is not included with our room so we went to the Tim Hortons that we had spied from the shuttle bus which is a five minute walk away. Toasted bagel and cream cheese? Don't mind if I do and I will likely repeat the procedure again tomorrow morning.
And with that thought, Jen has just curled up for the night and I think it's my turn to do the same.
Much Love to all.
Lxxx
